My name is Varvara Stefani and I am a student of the Department of Language and Intercultural Studies of the University of Thessaly. I am half Moldavian, half Greek and having lived in Cyprus – apart from living in Greece – I would say that I have had contact with the subjects of interculturality, multiculturalism and migration since I was very young. I speak Greek, English, French and I aim to learn additionally only Chinese, Arabic and Russian (as I need to limit the number -for now- somehow). I am one of the members of the “Volos Linguistic Research Group” (VLLRG) and while my knowledge regarding the Rhizo-eduscapes topics does not go beyond the theoretical level, I am honoured by the opportunity to join the research project and aim to be an important part of the group – and its subgroups – by sharing opinions, experiences and knowledge with all the participants.
