I am now professor emerita of the University of Patras, from where I retired after 32 years of teaching and research. The courses I taught concerned sociolinguistics and the teaching of language and literacy, especially for the first school age. I dealt with the literacy of adolescents with a migrant\/refugee profile on the occasion of the development of educational materials named Say it in broken Greek.
