I hold a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology (University of Athens) and a master΄s degree in Education from the University of Patras, in which I am a PhD candidate.
With more than 20 years of experience in Education & in EU projects management, I have worked in diverse environments: VET centres; High schools; University; NGOs, Development Agencies and Companies.
I have taught Greek as a second language in the “Odysseas” programme (education for immigrants), language literacy at the Second Chance School in Agios Stefanos prison in Patras and I have coordinated training programmes (co-funded by the EU) for refugees and immigrants. As a member of the “Apo koinou” group, I contributed to the development of educational material (eBook) for learning and teaching Greek as a L2 for adolescent immigrants/refugees.
My research interests focus on Literacy & Language Teaching, Genre Pedagogy, and Discourse Analysis.
The concept of rhizome in education intrigued me, from the first moment I heard about it during conversations with Roula (Dr Kitsiou, Principal Investigator of the project) and other members of the group, since it seems to provide a new epistemological approach disrupting the traditional curriculum and the (hegemonic) language education practices.
Moreover, I am a researcher at the Oral History Group for the Corinthian (black) currant and radio producer at the radio station of University of Patras (UP FM).

["post-313","omada","type-omada","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
